These changes warrant the need for medical professionals to under stand and identify human anatomy in both 2D and 3D images. Sectional anatomy emphasizes the physical relationship between internal structures. For the benefit of medical students and those not accustomed to looking at sectional anatomy or images there are introductory 'helpful hints' offering a structured approach to identifying structures in this way.
